FL Events Management Services is an event coordinating group based both in Manila and Batangas. They specialize in weddings, debuts, corporate events. Cited by Metro Wedding Magazine in the top list as one of the best coordinators in the country today.
FL Events is the brainchild of spouses Mr. Frank Miranda and Dr. Loralie “Lala” Perez-Miranda.
Although the group formally opened at the beginning of 2005, Frank & Lala were both coordinating events on their own prior to the decision to merge their respective coordinating groups.
Frank, a former Benedictine monk at the Benedictine Abbey of Our Lady of Montserrat was mainly assigned to assist in weddings at San Beda. After he left the monastery, he had his start in event coordination in 1998 as a former Presidential Protocol Officer in Malacanang under President Estrada. Aside from his duties involving protocol, he was also involved in the planning and execution of the numerous banquet dinners, ceremonies and activities in Malacanang for both local and foreign dignitaries. Among them were His Excellency, Premier Zhu-rongi Prime Minister of China, and His Serene Highness, Prince Albert of Monaco. Later, he left Malacanang so he would have more freedom with his personal schedule. He then entered the academe and started teaching and resumed his event coordination activities in the private sector.
Dr. Lala Perez-Miranda, on the other hand, has been coordinating various events from weddings and debuts to baptisms on and off over the years since 1990 as a hobby while still a student in Pre-med. One of her first events was a debut at the Holiday Inn – Manila. Despite her busy schedule as a physician and CEO of St. Patrick’s Hospital Medical Center, event planning has remained a passion through the years.
During the first year of operations, they had events ranging from weddings, baptisms, kids parties, and several corporate events. This included their partnership with Idea shop Manila, they coordinated “The Nokia Road show – Batangas” and “The Globe Gizmo Cinemania” at SM City –Batangas. In Sept 2006, they again worked with Nokia for a show with Candy Pangilinan and in 2008 teamed up with Yamaha to introduce their new line of motorcycles accompanied with a mall concert of “Bamboo”.
Another of their works was the production and direction of the highly successful benefit gala concert for special children last January 7,2006 titled “Evening with a Tenor” featuring our country’s premium tenor, Mr. Nolyn Cabahug. He was accompanied by The Music Unlimited Ensemble.
They have been truly blessed since the inception of the group. From weddings, concerts, corporate events FL Events has been committed to deliver quality services to all their clients, all of which eventually become treasured friends of the group. As proof of their commitment to quality, in the July 2008 Issue of Metro Wedding Magazine (Vol.8 No.2), FL Events was included in the Top List of The Best and Most Reliable wedding Coordinators in the Country today.
